Base Oils
Base Oil is produced by refining crude oil. The type, method, properties etc. determine its end use and suitability for different applications. They are then used as a base to manufacture products such as motor oil, lubricant greases, industrial fluids etc.
The American Petroleum Institute (API) categorises them as follows
Group I:
API defines group I as “base stocks containing less than 90 percent saturates and/or greater than 0.03 percent sulfur and having a viscosity index greater than or equal to 80 and less than 120”.
Commonly available grades include:
- SN150
- SN500
- BS150
Group II:
API defines group II as “base stocks containing greater than or equal to 90 percent saturates and less than or equal to 0.03 percent sulfur and having a viscosity index greater than or equal to 80 and less than 120”.
Commonly available grades include:
- 70N
- 110N
- 150N
- 230N
- 500N
- 600N
Group III:
API defines group III as “base stocks containing greater than or equal to 90 percent saturates and less than or equal to 0.03 percent sulfur and having a viscosity index greater than or equal to 120”.
Commonly available grades include:
- 2 CST
- 3 CST
- 4 CST
- 6 CST
- 8 CST
Group IV:
API defines group IV as synthetic base oils made of polyalphaolefins (PAO). Group IV base oils have a viscosity index range of 125 – 200.
Polyalphaolefin oils have a higher oxidative stability in extreme temperatures, and have exceptionally low pour points, which makes them much more suitable for use in very cold weather (as found in northern Europe), as well as in very hot weather (as in the Middle East).
Group V:
API defines group V as any type of base oil other than mentioned in the previously defined groups. Group V oils include alkylated naphthalenes and esters.
There are also unofficial classifications such as group II+ and group III+. These are more or better refined than the original classifications and have viscosity index at the higher end of the range for each group.
As per your requirements, we can source any base oil for you including but not limited to Adnoc, Aramco/Luberef, S-Oil, Hyundai-Shell, Formosa, GS Caltex, Petronas, ExxonMobil etc.

Lubricants
A lubricant is a substance that helps to reduce friction between surfaces in mutual contact, which ultimately reduces the heat generated when the surfaces move. It may also have the function of transmitting forces, transporting foreign particles, or heating or cooling the surfaces.
We can offer you options based on your requirements. This may be for one of our branded products, establishing your own brand, 3rd party blending setup for an existing brand or supply in bulk.
The formulation can be given by you or formulated by us to match your requirement which may be a price point or to achieve an approval-based product.
Commonly available products include:
- Motorcycle Oils (2-stroke and 4-stroke engines)
- Passenger Car Motor Oils
- Heavy Duty Diesel Engine Oils
- Gas Engine Oils
- Marine Oils
- Agriculture Oils

Greases
Grease is a solid or semi-solid lubricant formed as a dispersion of thickening agents in a liquid lubricant. Grease generally consists of a soap emulsified with mineral or vegetable oil. The main elements are thickener, base oil, and additives.
Greases are applied to mechanisms that can be lubricated only infrequently and where a lubricating oil would not stay in position. They also act as sealants to prevent the ingress of water and incompressible materials. Grease-lubricated bearings have greater frictional characteristics because of their high viscosities.
We have a full range of greases available to match your requirements.
Commonly available products include:
- Calcium Based Greases
- Lithium Based Greases
- Aluminium Complex Greases
- Barium Complex Greases
- Sodium Based Greases
- For extreme pressure (EP) or high temperature applications

Additives
Oil additives are chemical compounds that improve the lubricant performance of base oil. The manufacturer of many different oils can utilize the same base stock for each formulation and can choose different additives for each specific application.
Oil additives are vital for the proper lubrication and prolonged use of motor oil in modern internal combustion engines. Without many of these, the oil would become contaminated, break down, leak out, or not properly protect engine parts at all operating temperatures. Just as important are additives for oils used inside gearboxes, automatic transmissions, and bearings. Some of the most important additives include those used for viscosity and lubricity, contaminant control, for the control of chemical breakdown, and for seal conditioning. Some additives permit lubricants to perform better under severe conditions, such as extreme pressures and temperatures and high levels of contamination.
We have a full range of additive packages for commonly used API, ILSAC and JASO grades including:
- Gasoline Engine Oil (SP, SN, SM, SL, etc.)
- Diesel Engine Oils (CK-4, CJ-4, CI-4 etc.)
- Transmission Oils
- Industrial Oils
And separate components including:
- TBN Boosters
- Pour Point Depressant (PPD)
- Viscosity Index Improvers (VII)
- ZDDP
- Antifoam
- Brake fluid, glycols, and dyes.
- Grease Additives
We can also help fulfil any specific branded additive requirement.

Transformer Oils
Transformer oil or insulating oil is an oil that is stable at high temperatures and has excellent electrical insulating properties. It is used in oil-filled wet transformers, some types of high-voltage capacitors, fluorescent lamp ballasts, and some types of high-voltage switches and circuit breakers. Its functions are to insulate, suppress corona discharge and arcing, and to serve as a coolant.
We have a full range available including Uninhibited, Trace Inhibited and Inhibited types conforming to standards as required, including IEC: 60296:2020, ASTM D 3487, IS 335: 2018, IEC: 296 1982 and their various types.

White Oils
White Oils are ultra-pure mineral oils/liquid paraffin made up of saturated and alicyclic non-polar hydrocarbons. These oils are non-carcinogenic, hydrophobic, colourless, odourless, and tasteless. They are also biologically stable. Because of these characteristics, white oils find a wide variety of applications in numerous fields.
We have various viscosity options for various applications including pharmaceutical grade, food grade, medical grade, and industrial grade products.

Petroleum Jelly
Petroleum Jelly is a formulated product with homogeneous and ointment-like consistency. It is available in snow-white to yellow colours, odourless and translucent in appearance, largely used as an excipient in pharmaceutical and cosmetic formulations.
